According to The Sun, "It Is You" (Tentative Title) will air in Hong Kong beginning September 26 after "Revolving Doors of Vengeance"! If you can't remember what series that is, the cast consists of: Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Melissa Ng Mei Hang, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming, Patrick Tang Kin Wang and Vivien Yeo. That means this will be Bernice's 3rd series aired in Hong Kong this year! Very happy, she is indeed in the run for "Most Improved Actress" at TVB Anniversary this year! Remember to support Bernice everyone! Anniversary is November 19 just like every year!

Working to be martial artist for new drama

Yesterday Bernice Liu was invited to shu uemura makeup function. Bernice revealed that her skin can become allergic quite easily, "In one day, I have experienced removing makeup from my face 3 times and in the end, my skin turned very red. If my skin does not get enough air, my face will even break out in little bumps."
In October, Bernice revealed she will begin filming an anicient series which will have lots of movement. To do a superior job in the series, this month Bernice will learn kung fu from an expert. She admits that even though she has a dancing background, she will be afraid when she uses swords that she will not have enough power so she will have to practice.
Bernice's previous anicient series was "Virtues of Harmony" which was also her very first. When asked if it will be more elegant, Bernice replied that she doesn't know yet. Eventhough Bernice writes pinyin onto her script, she is confident that compared to before she is much faster and knows that she should be able to take it on. When asked if filming a martial arts series has she feared of getting hurt, she admits that she is not afraid and that makeup can hide the scars. Bernice revealed that she hopes to get many opportunites to try different things and also has an interest at being a "fighter". Before when watching a movie with Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi, Bernice praised them saying their fighting was excellent. Bernice also saw kung fu from Zheng Pei Pei and thought it was amazing because their was no body double.
As for filming ancient series, Moses Chan has had a lot of experience, will Bernice ask Moses for some tips? Bernice explained that she should ask many people for advice. Bernice's manager laughs and adds that Moses doesn't know any kung fu so it is useless to ask him!

Fans visit Bernice from Canada

Yesterday at Telford Plaza in Kowloon Bay, Bernice Liu and her fellow castmates Raymond Cho and Sam Chan from "Healing Hands 3" were selling stationery. Seeing so many fans there to support her, Bernice was extremely happy. There were at least 10 fans there supporting her and wanting to take pictures with their idol. Bernice pointed out that some of the fans came to see her from Canada. Also, they gave Bernice a scrapbook full of pictures and articles involving her latest news. Bernice's mom was also in the audience to cheer on her daughter.
Bernice said that the warm feeling her fans have given her made her very moved, "They are so great. Each time their is a charity function, they will use their own money to help me." Bernice also explained that maybe of her fans will go to all her functions just to see her so they will not have to go to TVB City to wait for her to get off work. She also promised that she will organize more gatherings with her fans so they will not skip school because of her! As for the scrapbook full of pictures, Bernice said she will definitely keep it in a secure place and that inside there are a lot of special pictures!

New Ancient Series

Bernice has comfirmed from a article with Appledaily that next month (October) she will begin to film a new anicient drama. It will involve a lot of fighting and kung fu and also will have a lot of serious Cantonese dialogue. Besides practicing her Cantonese, Bernice will spend the month of September with a kung fu speicialist for preparation.

Finally a new drama to film and looks like an interesting one if Bernice will be fighting since she has had a history in tae kwon do. Be sure to come back so I can update you with more news! Cheers!

Yesterday Raymond Lam and Bernice Liu appeared at Gold Coast Beach for the 2005 Hong Kong Beach Volleyball Championship opening as guests. The two and Hong Kong Beach Volleyball team represented themselves in a Friendly. Raymond and Bernice seperated in 2 groups, each with a partner from the Hong Kong team. Raymond was not bad at playing volleyball while Bernice had a little trouble.
Bernice revealed that she has never approaced volleyball when she was younger because most of her time was devoted to dancing. This was her first time playing beach volleyball. She also revealed that after entering the industry she has rarely went to any beaches in Hong Kong. "For one thing, I am afraid of being photographed by the press and another is that when I get time off from working I usually go home and sleep. Besides, when I have to work it is usually sunny outside and when I have time off it's usually raining!" says Bernice.

Yesterday Bernice appeared at a massage function alongside Raymond Cho. Bernice has always liked massaging especially while filming series where she does not get a lot of sleep, massaging helps relax the body. When asked if her "good friend" Moses Chan has recieved any massages from her she replies, "Not only him! I think I also gave Frankie Lam and Michael Tse massages while filming also." Bernice admits that she loves getting massages but everytime after a massage she is so relaxed she has to pay special attention when driving home!
The host revealed Bernice's Tseung Kwan O home has a massage centre and Bernice replied by saying, "I don't mind if people find out my address. Usually when I leave my home I don't have to avoid anyone, I actually find my neighbors are very nice people. Chow Yun Fat is very famous yet he passes an ordinary lifestyle so I should definitely not be afraid of anything!"

Bernice is coming to Canada!

Bernice will be in Toronto and Vancouver along with Joey Leung, Anne Heung and Michael Tong. They will be there to play games with the audience and hand out prizes.
Update: Forgot to add that they will also be appearing at Paramount Canada's Wonderland in Toronto September 18 at 2PM and The Centre In Vancouver for Performing Arts in Vancouver September 20th at 8PM.

Yesterday, Bernice Liu was spotted at a bowling centre with the little boy who plays Moses Chan's son in "Healing Hands III" for his birthday. There was no sign of Bernice's rumoured boyfriend Moses but she was with his "son" for half a day and looked quite happy.

Yesterday, Bernice Liu appeared at Parkway in Tseung Kwan O for a Mid-Autumn Festival function. The host asked Bernice who she would be spending the festival time with and one male member of the audience spoke loudly and said, "With Mr. Chan (Moses Chan) right?" It left Bernice rather embarassed and didn't know what to do so she just smiled to the audience.
When asked about it later Bernice said, "I did not know he said that. I thought he said I was pretty! (Will you be spending Mid-Autumn Festival with Moses?) No, I don't think I am in Hong Kong. (Will you give Moses's mother a box of mooncake to respect the elder?) She is not that elderly! But I know that during Mid-Autumn Festival, giving mooncake to your family, relatives and elders is a sign of respect."

Bernice on her childhood
Many people think I was born in Vancouver but I'm not! If I was born there would my Cantonese be so bad? More than 20 years ago my parents moved to a town north of Vancouver, a town 3 hours away by car called Prince Rupert. They opened a Chinese restaurant and that is where I lived and grew up.
When I was 2 or 3 years old, my whole family spoke Cantonese but when I started school the teacher told my mom that she hoped our family would start communicating in English as well. Prince Rupert only has a few thousand people, there are very few Asians and if my voice is not perfect, it will affect the other children the teacher said.
Was it unfair? I guess it depends on how you look at the situation. If we had to live in this lifestyle then I guess we would have had to follow it as well. It is a respect like when I moved to Hong Kong I had to learn Cantonese.
Since I was younger, my parents have always gave me a lot of space. They let me learn anything I wanted to whether it was dancing and tae kwon do. I have even learned how to play clarinet. I remember one day when I was about 5 or 6 years old my older sister was sleeping and I was only playing and I took a pair of scissors and cut my sister's hair even making it uneven. My mom was so angry she locked me in my room. Later on, my sister secretly let me out of the room and told me to go into the closet in her room. And then she secretly brought me so junk food and coke.
I had often thought of dancing professionally. In my 12th year of dancing, I participated in a competition and one of the judges came from New York. He wanted to invite me to his dance company to be a dancer there. Did you know, that was a chance that was hard to give up? But my parents thought the lifestyle of a dancer was not set, there would only be money if there was a show to do. Besides, during that time, I recieved a scholarship to go to UBC (University of British Columbia) so of course I would go study more and then I moved to Vancouver.

Applied to pageant to learn more Chinese
I actually wanted to go to medical school to be a pedietrisian because I love little children but it would have taken at least 6-7 years. That is too long. In the end, I took Business Management. There was a new program called International Business and a lot of people with Chinese backgrounds trying to get into the program. Because China has developed very quickly it was almost guaranteed that after graduating you would be able to work for a big company.
I had my life planned out. I had a boyfriend who was a friend from school. We decided that when we graduated at 23 years old, worked for a year, we would get married and have kids at the age of 24. The government also gives health insurance, being a human being was relaxing haha I was so naive.
To take IB, it is required to know another second language. I was going to choose French but eventually I realized Chinese helped me more. I attended a few Mandarin classes and thought it was very hard. At that time, a friend gave me a suggestion, "Why don't you go apply for a pageant? Guaranteed you will learn how to speak Cantonese!" Originally I did not believe it but in the Vancouver pageant, everyone spoke Cantonese. Ironically when I went to Hong Kong for the Miss Chinese International pageant, everyone spoke English! How strange!

I am a product
Honestly, I had never thought of going into the entertainment business. My initial goal was just to learn Chinese! My parents had supported my goal. After Miss Chinese International, I immediately went back to school at UBC. TVB called me to tell me to come work in Hong Kong. At that time, I only had half a year to go before I graduated.
I did not know what to do so I asked a marketing professor for advice. He said, "You can view yourself as a product and that going back to Hong Kong will be a marketing experience, I can always go to school but you don't always get a hands-on experience." My dad said, "Since you were younger, you have always loved to perform. If you will are going to be happy filming movies, then keep on doing it. And if one day you find you are unhappy then we will pack our bags and move back to Canada!" My dad has a Hong Kong ID and said he would move with me, it made me very relieved! As far as university, they have left me a spot for 10 years. 4 years have gone buy and I am now 26 years old, I will think about it again only after 4 more years is up!

Before, I had always thought of myself as a Canadian. 4 years ago when I came to live in Hong Kong, I started to think of myself as a Chinese. After moving to Hong Kong, my dad took me to see my relatives. He is my translator. Each time when I would get home, I would learn to memorize my lines. Usually a person would get 4 hours to rest but I didn't get any rest at all! It was very hard and started to get homesick when I was filming "Virtues of Harmony" I saw that Louis Yuen and Cutie Mui spoke their lines very fast and often "stole my dialogue". I could not follow and one time even broke down in tears. The worst was a friend of mine Canada called and told me they had graduated. After while told me she was getting married and having kids. I had nothing and felt so depressed. I felt that my future looked very unclear. I then asked myself was I really meant for Hong Kong entertainment?
After meeting actors like me who could not read Chinese, like Flora Chan and Angela Tong, they taught me, "Never mind how other people see you. Who said we westerners can't act?" They were right! My dancing teacher when I was 4 years old said, "You are meant to be in entertainment!" So there was no reason for me to give

Opportunitist
For the past 2 years, my Chinese has improved a lot. I still cannot "steal dialogue" but communicating was not a problem. I am usually a person who loves to smile and whose always happy with a "silly girl" image. "Fa daan"? Not yet, I know that I haven't had the experience.
I am now loving Hong Kong more and more. I have recently signed a 5 year contract extension with TVB. I was happy being able to filn "Healing Hands 3" One reason was since I had the dream of studying medicine and the other was playing a professional. I am not just a "silly girl". I will always remember Nancy Sit told me to be a newcomer, you have to work hard and never give up on any opportunity. I think that advice is very accurate. After entering 4 years now, I have filmed movies and went to Hung Goon to perform, helped Sam Hui. Not everyone has that opportunity!
Am I an opportunitist? I think I am. Since I have not graduated from marketing, then I have to cherish my opportunites to make up for it. I hope I'll make myself have more and more value. My goal is to become more talented like Lisa Wang and DoDo Cheng.

Recognizing rumours
I have always concentrated on my work and have not thought a lot about dating. As Moses Chan is a very good friend of mine, he is a good man with a lot of patience and heart to help me. Would we have a chance together in the future? That is hard to say. I love the family lifestyle. I have a wide form, perfect for having kids!
Hopefully the public will not always talk about my rumours! "Fei man" (Rumours) these 2 words are always in the newspapers, I can read it! Now, don't write so much.

Looks like me!
Bernice is really very different from many actresses in Hong Kong. She is very fresh, open and bright and will not be one of those who for a diet will just drink water. She looks good in low-cut dresses. She sees the dresses that are prepared for her and always loves them. She likes dancing to Britney Spears music. Scene after scene her expression is different. You can see she is like us and enjoys what she is doing.
The other day, Bernice's mom returned to Hong Kong from Canada but was too shy for the camera and refused a picture. Seeing her daughter in front of the camera, her mom is like a fan and takes pictures of her daughter non-stop.
When asked if she minds when her daughter wears sexy clothing, "I don't think it is a problem. The costumes she used to wear when she danced were even more revealing."
When asked her she thinks her daughter is pretty she replies, "Of course! She looks like me!"
We finally know, that Bernice's open and bright personality is passed onto her by her mom.

This year is the 45th anniversary of Jean M. Wong School of Ballet and Bernice Liu will be taking part in the anniversary performance special dancing to Swan Lake. Bernice revealed that there was one time she had the opportunity to go dance professionally in New York, "I started to dance when I was really young. In Canada, I was already at the highest level of dancing when I was 13. At that time there was even a famous dancing school from New York to invite me to dance professionally there but my family decided that education is more important so eventually I did not go."
Bernice admits that dancing in her whole life has been her highest priority, " I don't do much. I guess besides working hard I can also dance and do tae kwon do. Sometimes when I am unhappy I will dance to relieve stress." When asked if her future boyfriend/husband would need to know how to dance Bernice replied, "If a man can dance I think he would be even more attractive. I know that Cheung Tin Oi and Lo Tai met because of dancing. I think it's very romantic!"

Prettier without makeup?

Yesterday, Bernice Liu was invited to a shu uemu function. Besides earning money she also received 7 pairs of fake eyelashes. When asked if she would wear a pair of the eyelashes to see her boyfriend, Bernice laughed and said, "I have no boyfriend! (You still look good without makeup, does Moses Chan feel the same way?) I'm not sure but many people have told me I look better without makeup but I can't remember if Moses did or not!"
Bernice revealed that she has always liked her smile and eyes and said, "I find my smile can make other people happy as well. My mom has passed on her good looks to me! (Would you accept plastic surgery?) No I wouldn't. But if people think it is better for them than it is okay. Everyone has their own opinion!"

Bernice the shopaholic

Yesterday, Bernice Liu and Raymond Lam appeared in Mul-Berry clothing and bags for their fall fashion show. Bernice's appearance was valued at 9000 dollars and has eyed a few of the purses.
When jokingly asked Bernice if she bought a brand name purse for herself every year Bernice laughed and revealed she has 50 purses and at least 100 pairs of shoes. She also revealed that one time she bought every color of the same type of shoe to match her outfits. She admits that she is quite a shopaholic and once went a little crazy and spent 20 thousand dollars worth of clothes and shoes. That time she accepted many jobs and to reward herself she went on a shopping spree. Raymond added that spending 20-30 thousand dollars on clothing is quite crazy and says he would not do that to himself. He also said that he has recently filmed "Simple Clothed Soothsayer" and has lost at least 10 pounds!

Bernice Liu, Belinda Hamnett and Joyce Tang were filming a commerical and between takes were joking around. Because of Belinda, Bernice got all her Catonese mixed up.
When the 3 ladies Bernice, Joyce and Belinda were on set it was thought that the 3 would compete to be the sexiest but Joyce and Belinda were laughing at Bernice who is the endorsement star was rather covered. Bernice said, In the ad I play a doctor so I cannot reveal anything. Now you can steal the camera!" And while shooting the ad the 3 ladies looked rather professional and serious but once the shooting stopped all 3 were laughing and talking loudly joking with each other.

Hair treatment tips

Yesterday Bernice Liu appeared at a function for Tresemme hair products in a low-cut dress which attracted the "foreigner" who kissed Bernice on the cheek and hugged her by the waist. The good thing was that western personality Bernice did not mind saying he was a gentleman. She laughed and said, "He greeted me using French and before he kissed me he asked for my permission. He did not take advantage of me so don't misunderstand!" Bernice also laughed that every country has their own way of greetings so she was just going along with it.
When speakig of hair products, Bernice revealed that after entering the entertainment business she washes her hair on average 3 times a day. She said that before she goes out or before she goes to work she will wash her hair so it will maintain the clean look but now it makes her hair dry. When reporters asked how she deals with it Bernice said she uses conditioner and often goes for treatment and that will keep her hair looking better.

Yesterday Bernice Liu, Belinda Hamnett and Joyce Tang were shooting an commercial ad for the slimming product TenseSlim. Bernice who has been the spokesperson for TenseSlim for the second year in a row is not worried about being replaced as last year she did an ad with "Virtues of Harmony" actresses Bondy Chiu, Stephanie Che and Joyce Chen. This year they have switched to "Women on the Run". When asked about her salary Bernice just smiled and said that this year she was very satisfied and is also hoping to find another half for her dog and also a bigger house for her family to live in. When asked if she would find herself another half Bernice replied it's not that TVB will not let her have a relationship but she wants to concentrate on her career for now.
Bernice revealed that her waistline is now 24 inches and says, "A lot of people lost their figure after going on a diet. Women who have figures are definitely more beautiful." Out of the 3 women, Joyce was the slimmest which made Belinda not want to stand near her. When asked if she was worried people would compare them she said, "All 3 of our figures are different, the most important thing is that we are healthy!"

Promotion turned blood donor clinic

For the promotion of "Healing Hands III", yesterday at TVB City, TVB organized "Tseung Kwan O Blood Donor Clinic". Besides showing up for promotion, the actors of the drama also donated blood, even Gigi Lai who is most afraid of any kind of pain. Other blood donors were Bernice Liu, Melissa Ng, Raymond Cho and Claire Yiu. The two main actors Bowie Lam and Moses Chan did not donate. After the function, Bowie immediately left the stage while Moses stayed. While Melissa was giving blood, Moses as a joke pretended to be a doctor and would not leave Melissa alone. But when rumoured girlfriend Bernice Liu was giving blood, Moses seemed to not dare go anywhere near her.
As Bernice was one of the donors yesterday, she was very happy she would be able to help someone in need. When speaking of Bowie and Moses not giving blood, Bernice explained that your health has to be good. If your health is not good it is best not do donate any blood.

Recently Bernice Liu became the spokesperson for Lactacyd and yesterday she purpose took the electric train to Causeway Bay to distribute their new product. Reporters saw Bernice waving to everyone on the street non stop and seeing people on the other line, she distributed the product them as well. When Bernice reached her destination, she distributed the product to everyone from men to women. She told the reporters, "Of course! Women can save to use it for themselves, men can give it to their girlfriends and children can give it to their mothers. It is very normal so why should I am embarassed?"

Brief summary of Bernice's character Betsy Tsang Suk Kei (Bowie Lam plays Henry Lai Kwok CHUE):

KEI is naturally intelligent, approaches are positive and has a lot of self-confidence. She treats everyone as if she has a purpose for herself.

KEI is daughter of the famous Dr. T.Y. Tsang. Her parents are divorced and her mother remarries, her relationship with her mother and stepfather are not good. As she is close to her stepmother, KEI lives with her father and begins the lifestyle of a rich girl but finds her relationship with her father begins to fall apart. Her ambition is to become a successful doctor and getting praises from her father.

KEI hopes to become a better doctor so she approaches CHUE to learn more.

After many years of not seeing her stepfather she one day finds herself saving her life. The relationship between the two begins to heal and the past is forgotten, adding inspiration, KEI finally understands the responsibilites of a doctor and decides to put her heart into becoming a good doctor. Bernice cherishes her one and only father

As Father's day is near, caring daughter Bernice Liu prepared some chicken wings for her dad. The reporter saw that Bernice was very handy with her cooking and could see that she is a true traditional Chinese woman who can be great both socially and in the kitchen. Bernice laughs and says, "Besides preparing some meals, she also bought her dad a gift. This is a secret gift so of course I can't tell you what it is!"
Bernice has always been loved deeply by her dad and after Bernice came to Hong Kong, he played the role of the driver. Bernice is very touched. She really cherishes her family and thinks that it doesn't have to be Mother's day or Father's day to celebrate and says, "He feared that it was dangerous for me to be alone so he often came to pick me up no matter if it was late at night or early in the morning. Also because he had to take care of me here, my parents were seperated. This kind of dad is hard to get so I will make up for it on Father's day!"

Yesterday, Bernice Liu was at an event for Fruits & Passions. Bernice demonstrated her massage skills on a model and her skills were not bad. Bernice revealed that back in Canada, she learned how to massage when taking dance classes. She explains, "Everytime I danced, I would be dancing for a few hours. I danced so much that I could not even walk so I had to massage my feet. If I didn't, it would be really easy to get foot spasms. (Have you given your boyfriend a massage?) I don't have a boyfriend right now! Before, I rarely did. But on the set of "Virtues of Harmony" I often gave massages Nancy Sit, Michael Tse and some of the other members of the cast."
Also, Bernice was wearing a short skirt and she was afraid of revealing herself when she sat down. She quickly crossed her legs and put both hands to hide leading many to think it was rather funny.
Earlier, Bernice's younger brother Caleb came to Hong Kong on his summer break to visit her. Last night Bernice brought him along to the Hong Kong premiere of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". Many people also praised Bernice's brother has being handsome. When asked if she would nominate him for Mr. Hong Kong, Bernice said, "Does her have to know Cantonese and have a Hong Kong ID? My brother has never told me he has interest in entering the entertainment industry."

Yesterday, Bernice Liu wore a mini-dress as a guest at a function for Crest toothpaste. It was also arranged for her to wear a sparkling $600 000, 18 carat diamond necklace so that not only will her teeth shine, but her necklace will as well. But Bernice did not even wear it for more than 2 minutes and security quickly took it away leading Bernice to be rather embarassed.
At the event, of course Bernice talked about the importance of your teeth. She also said teeth of artistes are very important because as soon has they smile, you can see if their teeth are nice or not. When asked if Bernice is looking for a boyfriend will she look to see if his teeth are nice, Bernice said, "If a man when he smiles and his teeth are all stained and yellow, you wouldn't like it either. Whiter teeth are more attractive. As for artistes in the industry, Bernice envies Nancy Sit's teeth as well as her smile.

Bernice's dream

Before entering the entertainment industry, Bernice Liu attended UBC (University of British Columbia) in Canada. As Bernice decided to move to Hong Kong, she did not finish her degree. Even though the past 4 years have not been bad for Bernice, she still has a dream that one day she will finish her university degree.
Bernice attended university for 3 years before joining the Miss Chinese pageant and afterwards, choosing to work in Hong Kong. She wanted to try the entertainment industry and now her career is not bad at all, gaining popularity and receiving series after series to film.
Having the love and support of her management, Bernice has made the decision to stay in Hong Kong next year. Earlier, TVB approached Bernice with a new contract and when asked if her salary was very high, Bernice replied, "Haha! I will be with TVB for a long time!"
Having decided to stay in Hong Kong, Bernice was asked if it would crush her dream of finishing school. With a laugh, Bernice replied, "No it would not because I am not flying over to study, I am just thinking of studying. Or I am thinking maybe if I can tranfer to Hong Kong University. Right now I am planning how to do it. This has always been my dream, so I am hoping to fulfill it!" Bernice deeply feels education is important and since she did not finish her's, she is hoping to finish her bachelor's degree incase of need.

Yesterday night, Bernice Liu appeared in a sexy low-cut top showing her gorgeous figure in a commercial function for TenseSlim slimming beverage. For the past year, Bernice has been the spokesperson for TenseSlim and the results have been satisfying. The company has asked her to re-sign for another year with of course more money leaving Bernice very happy.
The day of the filming of the commercial ad, the workers spent 10 hours organizing the commercial. As Bernice's image has been sexier the past year, she has been very welcomed all because she herself has been satisfied with her body explaining that she even more fit and pretty than in Miss Chinese International. Bernice also revealed that during the Miss Chinese International pageant, she was at least 135 pounds but now she is 110 pounds. She is now fitter than before which makes her very happy.
When reporters if she was satisfied with her figure and asked if she would take sexy photos, Bernice explains that she will not let herself go down the sexy road. As for the photographing, as long as the outcome is good I do not mind. "Of course I would like to. I have seen other artistes and the outcome has been good but it is up to my management to see if they will let me. (Will you take nude photos?) Of course not! The photos with of me with no clothes on my mom and day have put away, they are from when I was 2 or 3 years old!"
As Tuen Ng Festival is coming up, Bernice revealed she will be in Australia so she will not be able to eat dumplings. "I have only known what Tuen Ng Festival is after I came to Hong Kong. Of course I have tried to wrap it before but I am not that good at it! Buying is probably better."

Earlier, Moses Chan was spotted with his manager Carri being rather friendly with each other leading rumours of them both to start spreading. Moses's other rumoured girlfriend Bernice Liu was at a musical last night and when asked about the rumours, Bernice replied, "Everyone knows Carri in this industry! She is friendly with everyone. I think this whole thing is very funny!"

Yesterday, Bernice Liu brought along her 8 month old dog Mac to the station. She says, "I was helping the company record a themesong and we also recorded Mac's barking." Bernice also revealed that when she went to the dog store to see Mac, he was so happy to see her he peed leading Bernice to think it was very funny.
After training, Mac learned many tricks but Bernice has not planned to enter him in a competition. She says, "I am helping him find a girlfriend. Earlier, Bernice Liu commented that she hopes her and Hawick Lau will be friends forever and when asked about Moses Chan she replies that she likes his personality and it is hard to find someone so good nowadays.
Earlier, Bernice did an interview at TVB City talking about her rumours with Moses and Hawick. Rumours are that Bernice and Hawick started while filming "Virtues of Harmony" and when Moses appeared it made the short rumour with Hawick forgotten but Bernice still hopes that she will be friends with Hawick for a lifetime. She says, "We are very good friends. If we were really a couple we would not be photographed in public so often. I would not let this kind of news interfere with our relationship. He is not in Hong Kong very often and we communicate very little so I hope we will be friends for a long time."
As for Moses, Bernice says, "We are also very good friends. The chances of us being together is probably possible but cannot say it has but working with him makes me happy. Before when he would play villain roles, his voice would get very low but after getting to know him, he is a very silly person." Bernice also says she likes his personality and workwise, he is a very good person to talk to. When asked if they have seen each other's "soft" sides, Bernice replies, "Yes. He is very good to his mother. It is very hard to find these people now."
Bernice and Moses collaborated in "Love Bond" and "Healing Hands 3". And when filming "Healing Hands" she was not happy, Moses and Bowie Lam became her "psychologist". Bernice explains," My character in this series from start to finish is never happy. The lines were long and difficult and also concentrating on the role and becoming serious so sometimes it would become frustrating. Moses and Bowie were very kind and explained to be how to do it. They knew that I was not happy so they would not bother me. They are really friendly."

Bernice Liu who has recently revealed her sexy image explains that she does not mind being sexy. But she also explains, "It's not that I want to take the road as someone who is sexy, but I believe that every artiste has to try something different. Good thing the responses have been good and they do not think I am a sexy star. I am already very happy so the most important thing is to be healthy." As Bernice's contract with TVB ends in March of 2006, there have already been other companies who have offered her contracts but TVB has offered as well leading Bernice to be very happy and saying, "The company has been very good to me and is definitely my choice. The past few years, TVB has given me many opportunites to learn new things. Besides, I like working in this industry. We are still discussing the little things so the contract has not been final. TVB is my work so they are definitely my first priority."

Bernice Liu, who started dancing ballet when she was 4 years old in Canada was busy rehearsing for a performance in August at the Wong Yan Maan School of Ballet. When she was 13 years old, she returned to Hong Kong with her mom to compete in a competition and yesterday brought back a lot of memories. In August she will be performing "Swan Lake". Bernice reveals that she has been still practicing dance but she fears that because she is so busy filming series that she has no time to practice dance. She explains, "I really want to perform. For now, I have not been scheduled to work in August but they have arranged for me to dance. Because I used to always compete in dance competitions and place first, I am not nervous. I have even kept all my ballet dresses from when I was younger that my mom made herself but now they are all too short and tight but are still in very good condition. She spent a lot of time making them, I do not have the heart to throw them away!" Bernice also revealed that she has met with many of her old friends from dancing and the feeling was very warm.

3 Miss Chinese International winners, Bernice Liu, Michelle Ye and Linda Chung were all guests last night at the opening of the new Japanese restaurant Suji. Each looked very stylish with Michelle wearing a low-cut one piece dress but Bernice was the one who "stole the show". When speaking of her outfits, Bernice said, "Everytime I have to wear something different so it will have the fresh feeling. (Everyone is wearing low-cut?) I am wearing low-cut too, just in the back! Haha!"
Bernice explains she loves to eat Japanese food, laughing that this time she is eating and taking, "The happiest thing is that we can eat. It is just right for my appetite and it is also healthy! (Did they sponsor you to all-you-can eat?) Everytime I come here, I will just call the manager! (Will you ask Moses to join you?) No, just my father!" When asked about rumored boyfriend Moses Chan releasing a CD and saying that his singing was so-so. Bernice supported him by saying, "It is not bad and it is his first time singing so it is ok. Bernice praises Alain Delon

Yesterday was the opening of "Heroic Romance: Retrospective of Alain Delon" in which 15 films will be aired in 12 days. Bernice Liu and Teresa Cheung were also present. Bernice explains that last year in Paris she met Alain Delon. Bernice's auntie actually knows Alain and she also had the opportunity to have a dinner with him. Bernice says that Alain Delon has always been her idol and that he is very stylish, has scent of man and even though their age is a very big difference, Bernice says his eyes will always attract to her.
Bernice is definitely a big fan, she even has a pair of glasses similar to Alain's. She says when they met, Alain used Mandarin saying "Xie Xie" (Thank You). To be able to attend this function, Bernice originally had another function to attend but she saw that it had not started yet so she rushed to the Alain function and had to change her clothing in the car leading her to become rather embarassed.

Yesterday, Bernice Liu was a guest judge on the TVB game show "Minutes to Fame". Bernice explained that she actually didn't really understand what the contestants were singing. She was really only there to watch. She expressed that to think of something to perform is such a short period of time is hard, especially on stage which made Bernice not want to "ding" the bell. Instead she admired the contestants rather than "ding" them.

Yesterday, Bernice Liu was at Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong as a guest for the 4th Annual Hockey Competition. As Bernice's 2 little cousins took part in the competition, Bernice stayed to cheer them on.
Bernice's younger brother is an experienced hockey and even though her 2 little cousins are still young, they are very talented as well. Bernice laughs that when she was in school she wanted to learn how to play hockey but her mother would not let her saying that hockey is not suitable for girls and encouraged her to keep with her ballet. Bernice says, "Even though my mom did not let me play hockey, I still like to watch my brother and my cousins compete."

Bernice and Moses earning money together

Yesterday, Bernice Liu and Moses Chan were guests at a grand opening of a plaza in Hang Hau MTR station (Tseung Kwan O). At the plaza, the pair attracted many on-lookers and caused quite a commotion with so many people there. Bernice was wearing a top that was open on both sides she laughs and says, "I am not afraid I will reveal myself because I have prepared underneath because the area is quite windy so I was afraid my skirt would blow out." When Bernice asked Moses if he had kept the grand opening ribbon for good luck and Moses said he didn't, Bernice said, "Do not blame him, he is very western, he didn't know!" When asked what are their plans for Mother's day, Moses replies that his mother is in Australia and Bernice's is in Canada so they will communicate through the telephone.
The funniest thing was that the female MC twice mis-pronounced Moses's name, one saying "Chan Ga Ho" and another time "Chan Ho" (different character "Ho") Moses later revealed he didn't hear it because the plaza was so loud so he was not embarassed.

A lot of people actually think she was born in Vancouver but Bernice was born in a little town called Prince Rupert which is west of Vancouver. She said she has always done well in school.

Bernice's eyes were -9.00 She said when she was little she had to wear big thick glasses. She originally thought of going to medical school, but said that the process took too much time so she applied for marketing I think or International Business. I guess it was important to know Chinese but Bernice originally didn't understand any Chinese at all. So she had to take a 3 month class. Later on, a Taiwanese friend encouraged her to apply for Miss Chinese Vancouver.

She started dancing at the age of 4. Ballet, jazz and modern dance, everything. She even had an opportunity to be a professional dancer. But after discussing it with her parents, she didn't go and stayed in Vancouver to go to school.
She took a leave from school for 21 days to go to Hong Kong for Miss Chinese International. She said it meant a lot to her to dance as her talent since she grew up in a small town but then she was dancing for millions of people on a stage in Hong Kong.

Talking of her friends and asked if Moses was her boyfriend, Bernice said they are friends. And then asked if he knows her the best she said that the VOH cast probably knows her the best. Before, she knew there was a person name Chan Ho but didn't meet him until filming for Love Bond and Healing Hands III. She said they both speak English so it is easier to communicate.

During the 2 hour interview, Bernice's phone rang 40 times if not 30. Each time she would go another room and speak secretly and quietly. Interviewer though it was Moses. Eventually, she stayed in the room speaking fluent English into the phone.
Bernice's father was planning to open a restaurant. But after Bernice came to Hong Kong, he left that plan and moved to Hong Kong to be with his daughter. 3 years later, his job is his daugther's driver and translator.

Bernice working hard to raise her "son"

Yesterday, Bernice Liu took part in a function for a brand name purse attracting many onlookers and praises that she was beautiful leading her to smile a lot. Bernice has always had a purse with her no matter where she went and has at least 100 in total. Her most expensive one was given to her by an aunt as a birthday present. It is big enough to put my 'son' (her dog) into so he is very lucky! He will always come out with me and now people only say hello to my dog and not me anymore! But he is very cute and is a lucky dog.
After finishing the filming of "It Is You", Bernice has been looking for some extra work to find more money to raise her 'son'. "I don't want him to be bored", she says, "so I want to get him a partner."

Last night, TVB series "Destiny Is You" finished filming and some of the actors, Bernice Liu, Michael Miu, Melissa Ng and Akina Hong were out in Tsim Sha Tsui to celebrate. Michael payed the minimum while Melissa bought some red wine. The night before last was the premiere of Michael's comeback series "The Academy". Melissa says, "He looks handsomer everytime!". Michael laughs that his partners get younger each time maybe next time he will part with Vivien Yeo!
As for the magazines photographing rumoured boyfriend Moses Chan and his 'flabby' jogging, Bernice can't help but laugh and says, "He's not as fit as me is he? But men are not as attractive if they are too skinny and I am not that tiny. If he is too skinny he will be too weak!" As Moses recently took part in putting together a new album called "All About Men" Bernice was asked if Moses has enough scent of man she laughs and replies yes a little. But later changes her mind that he doesn't need to lose weight. Is she afraid they would not match if he does?

Ratings for Love Bond have been very good and last night TVB arranged for a celebration with actors Michael Tao, Bernice Liu, Moses Chan and Anne Heung each fulfilling their promises. Michael and Anne both invited everyone to eat shark fin while Bernice invited everyone for ice cream. Kenix Kwok could not make it due to filming but her promise was to dress up as Liza Wang and sing "Hot Coffee".
Since Kenix could not be there, she had asked Moses to take her place. He was prepared with a face mask and some feathers singing and dancing and making everyone laugh. When asked if it was frustrating to be teased he replies, "It's ok! Everyone is happy. Next time I make a promise like this the ratings must be high!"
Speaking of the sexy cover magazine of rumored girlfriend Bernice Liu Moses replies, "I saw it! The photos are nice!" When asked what he though of Bernice's image he says, "I have always kept my comments to myself. From a model point of view of course she is beautiful. This is artiste business so their is no need to be too sexy." How many points would he give Bernice for the photos? "She is popular for her great figure. She is a pretty and hard working girl so very high points! I give her an 80%!" And speaking of Bernice's sexy photographs she was asked if it was to received more commerical sponsors she says," I have been in this business for 3 years now. Before, I had the image of a silly girl. It was my manager who arranged for me to take this photos to let everyone see the new Bernice Liu. I think that if it looks good and is healthy then it is okay." When told that Moses praised her photos Bernice said before the photo shoot she had asked him for his opinion. He agreed that a new image was a good thing and also said the photos were nice. Bernice was also photographed earlier by a magazine with Tian Liang look-alike. She explains, "He was one of my friends in Canada. He is not from this industry. I thought this news was very funny though!"

Yesterday, the actors of the TVB series Love Bond were in Kwoon Tong at an Elders Center to promote their series. Besides playing games with the elders, the actors also dressed up and sang Cantonese Opera with them. At first, rumoured couple Bernice Liu and Moses Chan avoided taking pictures together but after changing into their costumes and singing they could not resist.
Bernice's voice was very scratchy and when asked she said maybe it was because yesterday she was filming a fire scene for "It is You" (formally known as Disappearence) and inhaled too much smoke. She said with a laugh that after filming she turned all black. Despite the holiday, the ratings for Love Bond have not slipped and have even moved up one point, Bernice is happy of course. And also the romance between her character and Moses is beginning to develop so these past few days their have been a lot of fans from Canada and Vietnam who have left messages asking her how their story will develop and also will she have babies with Moses.

Yesterday, Bernice Liu and Ron Ng were at a function for TVBQ Super Kids Competition as judges. Bernice's killer smile makes sense that she was chosen for the "Most Favorite Smile Award." When asked if her boyfriend tells her she has a nice smile Bernice replies, "Every morning my dog gives me a kiss on the face. That's the same right?" Bernice also revealed that earlier for the new series, Disappearence she filmed a kissing scene with Kenneth Ma and they had to kiss multiple times. She says, "We had to film at different angles so it took 4 or 5 takes before we finished. (Moses or Kenneth, who is the better kisser?) Aiya! I don't know!"

After the romance of Hawick Lau and Bernice Liu, Bernice and Moses Chan developed rumours of a romance. Even though they do not admit it, Hawick praised his old love and Moses for the kissing scene in Love Bond.
Yesterday, Hawick was at a function in Olympian City for Lego. When asked if he has watched television lately, with a laugh he says, "Of course I have! Love Bond right? (What do you think of Bernice's acting?) Pretty good. (How did you like Bernice and Moses's kissing scene?) It was very good, they were very natural. I have been watching the series. (Were you jealous?) Jealous of what? Of course not. It is just acting! Being friends, I am very happy for her." Hawick also reveals he has been keeping in touch with Bernice and earlier went out to eat together.

No blessing ceremony for Disappearence, accidents occuring!

In the 2 months that the new TVB drama, "Disappearence" has filmed, there have often been little accidents like, Bernice Liu getting hit getting hit in the mouth with a racket, Melissa Ng acting as a driver almost hitting Michael Miu, Vivien Yeo being ill for a few days. Many of the actors think all of this accidents have to do with the name of the drama or even not having a blessing ceremony yet.
Producer Cheung Gon Man says, "This drama is being very rushed but of course we will have a blessing ceremony soon." He also says with a laugh that the actors will not need talismans (ping on foo)
Leading actress Bernice says, "Chinese people are very superstitious about their blessings. Even though I am Christian, for safety, I will also pray for my blessings." The funniest thing is that Bernice doesn't mind the name. She says, "Doesn't it mean lost and found? Lost and then found again? I don't think the name has anything to do with it!"

Because of their new TVB series Love Bond, Moses Chan and Bernice Liu are often seen together at promotions and functions and yesterday the 2 of them were out once again for a promotion.
Recently, the 2 openly praised each other and Moses praises Bernice as she has a lot of character traits giving her a score of 80. When asked why he does not give Bernice a perfect score Moses explains if she has a perfect score then she will be too perfect and he is also she will never improve. As Moses gave Bernice an 80, Bernice gave Moses a 70 also because she is scared he will never improve therefore they must give each other some space.
Moses says, if Love Bond's ratings will reach 37 points, he will let anyone tease him and even kiss Bernice. Even if he had to kiss Michael (Tao) he would not mind. Bernice responds saying if the ratings are high, she will not mind doing anything. When asked if the 2 of them were dating Moses responds, "She is a very good person to work with and also a good friend. Do I have a chance? I will not dare say but she is a very good co-worker.
Earlier, Bernice was spotted at Moses's house. Even though she was discovered by reporters, she had an excuse for being there, praising Mrs Chan is a very nice person. Mrs Chan is very familar with Bernice, as if Mrs Chan thinks Bernice will make a good daughter-in-law, Moses laughs and says you will have to ask her to find out.

But as Bernice stepped in the entertainment spotlight, all of those plans changed. Hoping to become a successful and well-rounded artiste, after entering the business endless rumours of her relationships with Hawick Lau and Moses Chan emerged but she still insists she still loves the excitment of the business.
As her news is usually about her love relationships, Bernice wants to change those opinions of her dating relationships by concentrating on her career. She says, "I have a lot of male friends and we are all very close. Does that mean they are all my boyfriends? In fact, speaking of Hawick and Moses is getting boring. I haven't counted on my looks to become a start, I have studied in school before and I know a lot of different dance styles. Hopefully everyone will see my hardwork and dedication. My Chinese is not that good so I have to use a lot of time to study my scripts and I always need my father to translate the script for me in to pinyin." Yesterday, Michael Tao, Kenix Kwok, Moses Chan, Bernice Liu, Anne Heung and others were at TVB City promoting their new series, Love Bond. As well has playing games with the audience, Moses sang the themesong and got audience members into it by telling them to clap to the beat. Moses and Michael, along with Kenix and Bernice all together sang the sub themesong as well. As Michael and Kenix naturally held hands while they sang, Moses and Bernice did not. The rumoured couple looked embarassed and kept to a distance from each other, leading the audience members to ask why they are not holding hands while singing.
As Moses had to perform the themesong, he said he was very nervous prior to singing, "I woke up at 6 this morning with not a lot of sleep so I had to remember the lyrics."
Speaking of Bernice presenting him with flowers, Moses laughs and says that everyone gave him flowers. When asked why he and Bernice did not hold hands while singing, Moses blamed his "brother" (Michael) and said he broke the rules.
When the function was over, the cast passed out posters leading to some craziness in the room. When Bernice finished passing out posters, she was asked what she thought of her first time singing themesong for TVB. She says hearing her voice is a little strange but she was not as nervous as Moses as he had to sing by himself. So when it was her lunch break, Bernice recited her lyrics and everyone did not want to disturb her. Bernice says, "Moses is brave. He is not a singer but he agreed to sing to an audience." When asked why she did not hold hands with Moses, Bernice's excuse was she had to remember her lyrics as her Chinese is not that good so she concentrated more on her lyrics than anything else.

Yesterday during there was a happy auidence at what was thought to be the last taping of Super Trio Show. Since the ratings have been so high, TVB has decided to extend it to 13 more shows. At yesterday's taping, Moses Chan, Bernice Liu, Anne Heung, Michael Tao, Louisa So, Carlo Ng, Nnadia Chan and Cheung Tat Ming, all of which were divided into teams to compete.
As the taping started, Moses and Bernice were picked on by Eric Tsang constantly. During the dancing competition, Eric was saying there were very much concentrated on the dancing. Moses was so embarassed his face turned red. On the opposite side, Bernice seemed very calm and natural and was having a lot of fun. Both of them said they do not mind being on a gameshow together because it is like a promotion for Love Bond.
Even thought Moses and Bernice were put on the same team and had a lot of the attention, Michael and Louisa also caught some attention during their "fake person" sequence.

Recently, Bernice Liu is busy filming the new series, "Disappearence." She says, "The ratings for My Family were high, so I hope the ratings for Love Bond will be even better." (If the ratings are high, will you celebrate?) With a smile she replies, "I have not thought about that yet. I need to ask Michael and Kenix if they have plans of their own." Bernice also said she has a lot of confidence that the ratings for Love Bond will be high.
