This year is the 45th anniversary of Jean M. Wong School of Ballet and Bernice Liu will be taking part in the anniversary performance special dancing to Swan Lake. Bernice revealed that there was one time she had the opportunity to go dance professionally in New York, "I started to dance when I was really young. In Canada, I was already at the highest level of dancing when I was 13. At that time there was even a famous dancing school from New York to invite me to dance professionally there but my family decided that education is more important so eventually I did not go."
Bernice admits that dancing in her whole life has been her highest priority, " I don't do much. I guess besides working hard I can also dance and do tae kwon do. Sometimes when I am unhappy I will dance to relieve stress." When asked if her future boyfriend/husband would need to know how to dance Bernice replied, "If a man can dance I think he would be even more attractive. I know that Cheung Tin Oi and Lo Tai met because of dancing. I think it's very romantic!"
